THE PROCESS

From vision to reality

01

Consultation

We analyze your needs and preferences regarding the instrument's specifications and prepare a detailed budget and payment plan.

02

Design & Planning

Using advanced CAD software and our traditional luthiery knowledge, we begin with the design prior to machining and building.

03

Wood and Component Selection

Based on specifications, we offer and recommend different woods for the structure and/or pieces that will be part of the instrument's finish. We also choose pickups, hardware and other components.

04

Construction and Development

With the design completed and materials prepared, we begin building your instrument.

05

Finishing

Key stage in the instrument's construction. This includes color tests and paint design samples to achieve the best finish for your instrument.

06

Setup & Delivery

With the instrument finished, we assemble and tune the instrument. Once checked point by point, we contact you for delivery.

Master Luthier at work

ABOUT IOZZO GUITARS

A graduate of the Ituzaingó Luthiery School with 10 years of experience in instrument construction, design, and repair, I've always had the same goal: To think, design, develop, and build instruments that stand out from the ordinary, that have their own distinctive character.

I consider the exchange with the musician to be a key factor in this task, apart from understanding the instrument: Listening to their needs, knowing what they're looking for and what they prioritize in an instrument, and hearing their feedback. This is very important for improving step by step, instrument by instrument.

Regarding the craft itself, I always seek to learn new techniques and stay informed about new materials and supplies that the market offers, so I can elevate the final quality of my basses and guitars, and have available solutions to any problems or concerns that arise for the client.
